LARC Awareness Week raises awareness about the safest and most effective forms of birth control available today: long-acting reversible contraception (LARC).
LARCs like IUDs and the Implant have the potential to significantly reduce unintended pregnancies. While the use of LARCs is at an all-time high, women with the highest risk of unintended pregnancy are less likely to use them. We can do more to raise awareness and increase the use of LARCs.
The 2016 LARC Awareness Week took place November 14th - 18th.
